Published in Government Notice No. 8 Government Gazette 31771 of 6 January 2009. The Minister of Minerals and Energy made the regulations in respect of the single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin

The Minister of Minerals and Energy has, under section 2 (1) (c) of the Petroleum Products Act, 1977 (Act No. 120 of 1977), made the regulations set out in the Schedule. Regulations in respect of the single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin published in the Government Gazette No 30845 dated 4 March 2008 by the Department of Minerals and Energy.

Ms. Buyelwa P. Sonjica, Minister of Minerals and Energy, under section 2(1)(c)of the Petroleum Products Act, 1977 (Act No. 120 of 1977), determine that a maximum retail price for illuminating paraffin(excluding the price of any form of packaging) will become effective on the first Wednesday of each month.

The maximum retail price for illuminating paraffin, excluding the price of any form of packaging, for the period 5 March 2008 to 1 April 2008 will be 861.0 c/l. These regulations shall come into operation at 00:01 on 5 March 2008

AMENDMENT OF THE REGULATIONS IN RESPECT OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS - The Minister of Energy has made the regulations as set out in the schedule to the said notice. Published under Notice No. R 837, Government Gazette 9600, dated 4 October 2011.
